I am French professional offering translating, editing, copywriting and summarisation services from English and Spanish to French. I work full-time as a freelance translator and am currently looking for serious and regular collaborators.
My main fields of specialisation are tourism and hospitality and tourism, journalism, international institutions, international cooperation and development and ecology.
I was bord and raised in France but lived abroad at various times in my life: Mexico and Costa Rica when I was a student (2008-2009), New Zealand (2001), and the Netherlands more recently (2014-2015). I am now based in Paris, France.
I graduated in 2010 for ISIT, a multicultural management and communications institute based in Paris, where I obtained a Master's degree in Multicultural Communications and Translation.
I have 3 years of experience in the media and tourism sectors. As a News Editor at Kantar Media, I worked on a wide range of issues, both corporate and institutional (geopolitics, automobile industry, European institutions, energy, diplomacy, etc.) resulting in a professional adaptation to a technical and precise vocabulary. More recently, as a Web Editor at TravelBird, I developed my creative writing skills. I also discovered the stakes of a fast-growing company in the tourism industry.
My open-mindedness and my love for languages are both indispensable qualities to make a good translator. Other key words that apply to my work are attention to detail, strong work ethics and the ability to quickly learn how to use new IT tools.
