CV/Resume English (ODT)
My name is Iryna Andrenyuk and as my resume makes clear I have a postgraduate Diploma in Interpreting from London Metropolitan University, UK and my languages are Ukrainian and Russian A (mother tongues) and English B(active). I have a Specialist Diploma in Foreign Languages from Kiev State Teachers' Training Institute and built on my linguistic and cultural knowledge through living and working in the UK and Canada. My UK and Canada work experience has been in interpreting and translation often in law settings and within the National Health sector. This has involved a great deal of client contacts, which has improved my communication skills and developed the ability to relate to a wide range of people. I am versatile and willing to develop my new strengths and learn new skills.

For the past seven years I have been working as an interpreter at IRB in Toronto. In order to prepare for my work I had to undertake online research of the packages used in refugee protection hearings to identify relevant documentation on specific human rights issues and country conditions in the countries of origin of refugee claimants.
