I am a native English speaker and French-English and Spanish-English translator. I take great pride in my work, have a keen eye for detail, and respect deadlines.
With a translation qualification from the University of London, British Institute in Paris (2004) and 6 years of experience translating and teaching French, Spanish and English, I use these three languages fluently and accurately. I currently live in France and use French, English and Spanish on a daily basis.
My translating experience includes translating NGO websites and communications documents in the fields of ecology, endangered species and international development. I also have experience of producing documents for international sporting events (swimming). I have proof-read doctoral thesis, transcribed audio interview material in English and translated and subtitled short films.
In addition to my teaching qualifications (PGCE and CELTA) I have a degree in French and Philosophy and a Masters degree in International Development, which underpin my further areas of expertise international development, education, pedagogy, and philosophy.
I enjoy working as part of a team and would be delighted to talk to you about your translation needs. If you require any further detail, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
