I am the native Russian and Ukrainian speaker, recent DLPT, LAMP, ALTA, ILR. Last time I tested my English it was ILR 4/4/4. I hold security clearance from the DoD.
I had long and diverse career in technology. Also, since my teenage years I have been pursuing the personal interests in many areas of humanities. I have accumulated fairly large body of knowledge in engineering, IT, geography, history, global security, defense, public policy, politics, and world affairs. I am actively following the current events; you can call me a news junkie if you wish.
Recently I took two very difficult open source oriented translation tests, and was among only 20% of those who passed. This got me thinking very seriously about changing careers some time in the near future. In order to prepare I have signed up for the advanced graduate level credit classes in English conversation and writing.
In the meanwhile I am open to all kinds of the jobs that would put my KSA to good knowledge.
