Source text - Portuguese Esta pesquisa é financiada pelo CNPq-Brasil e propõe-se a estudar as políticas públicas elaboradas pelo Serviço Sanitário para o combate à tuberculose no estado de São Paulo, entre 1892 e 1917, assim como as políticas privadas e de caráter assistencialista promovidas pela Liga Paulista contra a Tuberculose dentro do mesmo contexto. O trabalho, então, pretende estudar como ocorreu a relação entre os dois órgãos, comparar suas propostas de combate à tuberculose e as respectivas ações promovidas por eles, observando como estas se complementariam ou provocariam embaraço entre o serviço e a liga paulista.
Translation - English This research is funded by CNPQ-Brasil and it proposes to study the public policies elaborated by Serviço Sanitário in order to combat tuberculosis in the state of São Paulo, between 1892 and 1917, as well as the private policies of assitentialist character promoted by the Liga Paulista contra a Tuberculose in the same context. The work, therefore, intends to study how the relations between the two bodies occured, intends to compare their combat proposals towards tuberculosis and their respective promoted actions, observing how they would complement each other or how they would provoke embarassment between the Service and the Liga Paulista.
