French/English > Spanish/Galician Translator
I studied Translation and Interpreting at Universidad de Salamanca, Spain, from 2011 to 2015. I am currently living in Barcelona and studying a master’s degree in Literary and Audiovisual Translation at UPF Barcelona School of Management.
I am interested in increasing my experience as a translator, either working as a freelancer or at a company that requires my services. I am especially interested in pursuing my specialisations, literary and audiovisual translation. However, I consider any translation option a good job opportunity.
During my degree I studied some specialised subjects, such as science, law, economic, journalistic, audiovisual and literary translation. I also worked with translation memory systems and computer-aided translation tools. As a part of the internship programme offered by the University, I worked as a translator and a proof-reader and as a translation project manager, at NGO UMOYA, with whom I keep collaborating nowadays, and UNAIDS organization.
Also, I have travelled abroad on several occasions to the countries where my working languages are spoken. I have been many times to France, both on holidays and on language stays. I did my Erasmus at University of Salford, United Kingdom, during year 2012–2013, and I spent three months in 2016 working at a transportation company in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. |
