Source text - Persian (Farsi) سوء استفاده مالی از قدرت و تصمیم گیری در جهت اهداف شخصی و محافل گروهی، نظر بسیاری از دلسوزان و اندیشمندان کشور را در سالهای اخیر به خود معطوف کرده است. ناگفته پیداست که این امر نوعی فساد است و فساد نیز زاییده تبعیض و تبعیض نیز به معنای امتیاز نارواست و مصداق بارز تبعیض در ادبیات اقتصادی، رانت یا مفت خواری و کسب ثروتهای بادآورده در سایه این پدیده شوم است؛ به طوری که امروزه در ایران بیشتر مفهوم منفی رانت به ذهن متبادر می گردد. متاسفانه باید گفت که فساد سیاسی، اداری و مالی و هم چنین انواع رانت خصوصا رانت اقتصادی و سیاسی و سوء استفاده از قدرت برای به دست آوردن ثروت یا قدرت بیشتر به یکی از مهمترین معضلات جامعه تبدیل شده است و وجود دولت رانتیر و سیاست رانتیریسم در ایران نیز باعث تشدید این وضعیت شده است. رانت جویی، انگیزه کار و تولید را تضعیف و خلاقیتها و نیروهای تولیدکننده را به سوی کجی و ناراستی می کشاند. در این حال منابع ثروت، آموزش و قدرت انحصاری می شوند و تبعیض و فساد، کم کاری، رشوه خواری و ملاحظه ضابطه به جای رابطه، عزل و نصبهای خارج از ضابطه و... جامعه را فرا می گیرد . بر این اساس، این نوشتار در پی آن است که با کالبد شکافی پدیده رانت، اطلاع رسانی اولیه را در اختیار قرار دهد. باشد که با شناخت بیشتر این معضل، کاربست های عملی در پاکسازی جامعه از این آسیب جدی فراهم آید.

Translation - English Financial abuse of power and making decisions that would guarantee the achievement of personal goals and those of particular groups are topics that have attracted the attention of many Iranians concerned with the issues as well as many Iranian intellectuals in recent years. Evidently, these problems indicate a kind of corruption which is in turn caused by discrimination. Discrimination is an advantage unjustly given to some people. A clear example of discrimination in economic literature is rent seeking or sponging; a sinister phenomenon through which windfall wealth is gained. Nowadays in Iran, the negative meaning of rent usually comes to mind. Unfortunately, it must be stated that political, administrative and financial corruption as well as different types of rent seeking especially economic and political rent and abuse of power to achieve wealth or more power has turned into one of the most important problems in the society. Presence of rentier governments and politics of rentierism in Iran have intensified those problems. Rent seeking, weakens the motivation to work and be productive and causes creative and productive powers to go astray and do wrong. In a society of rent-seekers, sources of wealth, education and power become exclusive and discrimination and corruption, negligence towards work, bribery, and consideration of family relationships
rather than the rules, unlawful appointments and dismissals, etc. spread all over the society. Thus, this article aims at creating primary awareness in readers by dissecting the phenomenon of rent. It is hoped that with a greater understanding of this issue, practical steps are taken to clean up the society and guard it against such serious harms as rent seeking.

Source text - English People who identify themselves as members of a social group (family, neighborhood, professional or ethnic affiliation, nation) acquire common ways of viewing the world through their interactions with other members of the same group. These views are reinforced through institutions like the family, the school, the workplace, the church, the government, and other sites of socialization throughout their lives. Common attitudes, beliefs and values are reflected in the way members of the group use language - for example, what they choose to say or not to say and how they say it. Thus, in addition to the notion of speech community composed of people who use the same linguistic code, we can speak of discourse communities to refer to the common ways in which members of a social group use language to meet their social needs. Not only the grammatical, lexical, and phonological features of their language (for example, teenage talk, professional jargon, political rhetoric) differentiate them from others, but also the topics they choose to talk about, the way they present information, the style with which they interact, in other words, their discourse accent . For instance, Americans have been socialized into responding 'Thank you' to any compliment, as if they were acknowledging a friendly gift: 'I'd like your sweater' - 'Oh, thank you!' The French, who tend to perceive such a compliment as an intrusion into their privacy, would rather downplay the compliment and minimize its value: 'Oh really? It's already quite old!' The reactions of both groups are based on the differing degrees of embarrassment caused by personal comments. This is a view of culture that focuses on the ways of thinking, behaving, and valuing currently shared by members of the same discourse community.
Translation - Persian (Farsi) کسانی که خودشان را اعضای یک گروه اجتماعی می دانند (مانند خانواده، محله، وابستگی حرفه ای یا قومی، ملت) از طریق تعاملاتی که با دیگر اعضای گروه خود دارند، شیوه های مشترکی برای نگریستن به جهان فرا می گیرند. این دیدگاه ها توسط نهادهایی مانند خانواده، مدرسه، محیط کار، کلیسا، دولت، و دیگر مکان ها برای اجتماعی شدن در تمام طول زندگی مردم، تقویت می شوند. بازتاب نگرش ها، باورها و ارزش های مشترک، در شیوه استفاده از زبان توسط اعضای هر یک از این گروه های اجتماعی دیده می شود – به عنوان مثال، زمانی که تصمیم می گیرند حرفی را به زبان آورده یا آن را به زبان نیاورند و اگر خواستند آن را به زبان آورند، چگونه می خواهند آن سخن را بیان نمایند. بنابراین، علاوه بر مفهوم جامعه زبانی که متشکل از افرادی است که از یک زبان قراردادی استفاده می کنند، می توان از مفهوم جوامع گفتمانی برای اشاره به شیوه های مشترکی استفاده کرد که اعضای یک گروه اجتماعی زبان را به کار می گیرند تا نیازهای اجتماعی خود را رفع کنند. نه تنها ویژگی های دستوری، واژگانی و آواشناختی زبان آن ها (مثلا، گفتار نوجوانان، اصطلاحات حرفه ای، مباحث سیاسی)، ایشان را از دیگران متمایز می سازد بلکه موضوعاتی که برای سخن گفتن انتخاب می کنند، شیوه ارائه اطلاعات و سبک تعامل ایشان یا به عبارت دیگر، لهجه گفتمانی آن ها نیز با سایر افراد متفاوت است. مثلا، آمریکایی ها این طور بار آمده اند که در پاسخ به هر تعریفی که از ایشان می شود بگویند "سپاسگزارم". گویی که دوستی به آن ها هدیه ای داده است: "چه ژاکت قشنگی داری!" – "اوه، متشکرم!". اما فرانسوی ها که ظاهرا چنین تعریفی را ورود به حریم خصوصی خودشان قلمداد می کنند، ترجیح می دهند که آن تعریف را بی اهمیت جلوه داده و ارزش آن را پایین بیاورند!". واکنش های هر دو گروه بر مبنای ارزش های متفاوتی است که دو فرهنگ برای تعریف ها قائل هستند و درجات متمایزی از شرمساری که در دو فرهنگ توسط نظرات شخصی ایجاد می شود. این چشم اندازی از فرهنگ است که بر شیوه های اندیشیدن، رفتار کردن، و ارزش نهادن تمرکز می کند که هم اکنون در میان اعضای یک جامعه گفتمانی مشترک هستند.

I was born on May 5, 1984. I passed primary school and high school in Kerman. Then, I moved to Tehran to continue my education in the field of English Language and Literature. I got my BA from Tehran University. I also studied Italian Language and Literature at the same university since I was really interested in the language. I did my MA in Kashan University in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). Currently, I am doing my PhD in Applied Linguistics at Ilam University. So far, I have taught English and Italian at different universities, colleges and language institutes. I have also translated some books, many articles and a lot of abstracts. My translation is accurate, fluent and comprehensible. I am disciplined and try to meet deadlines. I am acquainted with different software and have lots of dictionaries at my possession plus a couple of cool and knowledgeable friends who are always there when I need them.
