I have BSc, MSc, and PhD in the areas of Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering and Environmental Chemistry, respectively. I quit my job as a post-doctoral researcher in a highly respected university in order to work as a freelance translator. Since then, I have performed several translation projects including internal communications of pharmaceutical companies, general marketing presentations aimed for internal training, medical instrument manuals, and internal web-site based security training programs. Previously I also translated scientific journal articles to be utilized by academic staff, I performed literature search, prepared reports and translated these from English to Turkish. These projects were all in the areas of Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, and Nanotechnology. I am also interested in cooking (I am running a food blog) and I am well familiar with culinary terms. Also I play the piano and the flute, thus I am familiar with musical terms as well. My areas of expertise include Technology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Analytics, Medicine, IT, and Marketing.
