About me
My name is Jiho Jang.

I was born in Minnesota/ USA in 1988. After my younger years, I received higher education in South Korea (high school, university). Through this background, I became very fluent in both languages, and also became very familiar with both culture’s way of thinking.

This allowed me to serve my mandatory military time as a translator in a US army base situated in Seongnam city. During that time, my main job was to be a interpreter/ translator, while teaching Korean to US army soldiers. This helped me to expand my language/ cultural skills into a teaching one.

After graduating from college, I worked in a game company (NEXON) as a game designer. Due to my proficiency in English, I also worked as a translator/ interpreter in the company. After the game was finished, I overlook all English materials to prepare the game for global release.

After the game was finished, I worked as a freelance translator for a translation agencies. There, my main job was to translate video game texts, subtitles for videos, and product manuals.

I always worked in a field related to the English language. My deep understanding of both (Korea, USA) culture allowed me to provide quality work to my previous employers.

I always loved being the connection between two cultures.
I look forward to meeting / working with you.
