Currently, I am trying to specialize myself in the field of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), in order to teach Economics and Business Economics in English and German. In 1999, I acquired a teacher certification in Law and Economics (A019) while for Business Economics I am attending a new teacher certification course, which will allow me to qualify, in latter, subject teaching at a Business Secondary School.
I was involved in several EU fellowships (Comenius and Erasmus+ projects) relating to how vocational school abroad work and CLIL teacher training courses relating myself in a German and English environment. I found these experience challenging and, therefore, I would like in the future to teach and interact in an international school context.
I wish to deepen my knowledge mainly in the business field (which I consider an important and interesting subject to teach at school). It is the one, that best fits with my future idea of teacher study career based on a range of business subjects all taught completely in English.
Furthermore, I would like to express my interest in taking part in professional educator programs like the one called “Enterprise without Borders-EwB”, where students can set up and run a real “JA” business company in a global worldwide competition net, learning how to become entrepreneurial in an international context, getting to know other students from other countries, creating and running a real company on their own risks. These kinds of companies are currently still unknown In Italy, but I hope one day to be able to set up one at my school as in my personal opinion teaching content is important but not sufficient. |
