Due to my good knowledge of the English language (I studied it since I was a kid), I am often asked to translate tests during my spare time. My translation areas of expertise are the following ones: art history and art catalogues, cosmetics, literature and music (particularly web site for musicians and singers and their leaflets).
Plus, I am pretty good at working under pressure and in a hurry without losing my concentration.
I have always had a great passion for languages and particularly for English and the British culture, I studied and lived abroad during my academic studies. I inform you about such experiences since I believe that the language knowledge is fundamental, but it is never enough. To be a translator, you need to have a really good cultural background concerning your areas of expertise as well as you need to master the culture both of your native language and the one of the language you translate.
