Spanish - English translator and interpreter based in Huelva
After graduating
in Spanish and Italian from the University of Swansea, I moved to Spain in the 90s
to work as an English teacher in Seville, but the appeal of living by the coast
drove me to relocate to Huelva. After informally translating and interpreting
for years, I became a freelancer in 2016. I initially focused on translating,
before signing up for court and police interpreting, and now combine the two
services.
INTERPRETING SERVICES AND EXPERIENCE
2019 to present: Bilateral interpreter for courts and police,
with over 250 interpreting services rendered over the past 5 years.
December 2024: Simultaneous interpreter at a partners’
meeting for LED display manufacturing company.
2010 to present: Occasional interpreter for local law firm
and estate agency.
In-person interpreting only.
