I am a professional translator and interpreter in the language pairs Russian-Finnish and German-Finnish. I also proofread Russian-Finnish, German-Finnish, Swedish-Finnish and English-Finnish. I run my own company, Tolkoma. Through my company, I offer translation and interpretation services.

I translate from Russian and German into my native language Finnish. This is how I guarantee the top quality of my work. My fields of expertise in translation are
in Russian: forestry, legal documents, agreements, education, the public sector
in German: technical engineering, electrical engineering

I use translation memory programmes (MemoQ, SDL Trados) and MS Office.

I am constantly and actively seeking further education in different aspects of translation and interpretation to keep my language and translation skills relevant and up-to-date. At the moment, I am studying towards a vocational qualification in community interpreting in Russian. I have also studied Russian trade and simultaneous interpretation as well as participated in many workshops concerning such aspects as language planning and maintenance.
