Professional practices Elizabeth Clarke endorses's Professional Guidelines.

Born in Italy to a bilingual family, I
grew up with a love for languages and literature thanks to my parents
and a house full of books.

After completing my academic studies in
Archaeology and Anthropology, I worked for 8 years as journalist and
publishing consultant, honing my writing and editing skills.

My flair for communication and creative
writing proved to be essential when I started to translate marketing
and promotional contents on behalf of pharmaceutical companies -
which in turn sparked my interest for the healthcare industry in
general. As a result, I decided to further my education in this field
and I am now working toward a career as scientific translator.

As much as I enjoy the rigour and
accuracy that are key to deliver excellent results in this line of
work, I haven't lost my penchant for its creative side either:
language is my passion, words are my playground.
