I am an energy engineer specialized in energy efficiency of industrial processes.
My main profession is an energy consultancy services which I execute at a global manufacturing company. There, I am exposed to highly technical vocabulary, reason why I have a preference for technical translations, mainly in the field of technology, processes, innovation, etc.
I have studied in a U.S. university where I followed several writing and communication lessons and that has greatly contributed to bringing my English level to the next level. I also have professional experience in the U.S having worked for an energy company in Washington D.C. during the summer of 2014 as a graduate intern.
For 1,5 years I worked as a English teacher in Brazil teaching teens and adults from beginning to advanced levels next to providing translation services worldwide mainly through Fiverr. and word of the mouth. Since 2014, I have performed translation services for university professors, companies, websites, and several other clients with contents varying from general blog posts to scientific papers and technical manuals. During a normal day I switch languages from Portuguese, to English and Dutch probably a thousand times.
