My language experience developed with my entry into advertising in 1978 and my work as a copywriter both in English and Sinhala (Sinhalese). In almost every job thereafter, I have continued to do writing in both languages. Since 2011 I have taken to professional translation as a freelancer and have worked for leading companies in Sri Lanka including Mobitel for whom I have done extensive legal translations. I now undertake general translations mainly for the PR and advertising industries. I have also undertaken some sub-titling work several years ago and am confident of being able to produce work to the satisfaction of the client. I believe in maintaining the highest professional standards.
