My name is Jackenson Louis. I am a graduate at École Normale Supérieure/ State University of Haiti in Living Languages. In addition, I am a graduate at the University of Notre Dame du Lac, IN, USA in an intensive English program and project designing through Community service learning. That program aimed to develop our skills in English for academic and professional purposes and in community development. I am also a graduate at the University of Nevada as an English Teacher. I earned these 2 grants from the US Department of State through the US Embassy Haiti. I am a certified teacher by SIT Graduate Institute. That certificate notifies me as a worldwide qualified teacher of English. Four (4) Universities and many seminars have provided me with skills related to teaching, communication, translation, leadership, problem solving, project designing, curriculum development and other skills that have helped me to be the person I am today. When I was in school, I used to write many journals and other papers that helped me to develop my reflective and productive skills, my problem-solving skills and my skills in storytelling. At compassion International, I have to report all my visit in English Which help me to write a lot in a profesional leve. As an educator. I am very knowledgable about the social, economical and political situation of Haiti and many other countries in the world. I have good knowledge of the US culture and about the US/ Haiti relationship. Being at the same time a professor, a Country host and a professional translator, I am highly conviced that I have good experience in handling multi-tasks.
I am a Single, cooperative, energetic, tolerant, respectful, flexible, trustworthy, workaholic, punctual & quick learner. Teachers, colleagues, neighbors, friends and acquaintances know me to be a caring, level headed, and endowed with a great sense of leadership and responsibility.
