說起大稻埕，就不得不提起迪化老街南街的台北霞海城隍廟。霞海城隍廟不僅是在地人的信仰中心，觀光人潮更是如織，強大的城隍「團隊」不但保佑了在地人，更是不辭辛勞，跨國為海外佳偶牽紅線。
聲名遠播的城隍團隊包括了霞海城隍老爺、謝范二將軍(七、八爺)、城隍夫人、月下老人及註生娘娘等。由於這些神明形象鮮明到深植人心，所以被當地文創店家及餐廳當作創意發想來源，融入在各式產品中，饒富意趣。
霞海城隍今年生日在6月29日(農曆5月14日)，除了參加城隍廟舉辦的霞海城隍文化節替城隍爺慶生外，也不妨將迪化老街從北到南走一遭，造訪這裡風格迥異卻極具特色的店家，並一探霞海城隍「團隊」的蹤跡。

따따오청(大稻埕)에 대해 이야기 하자면 띠화 옛 거리(迪化老街; 띠화라오지예)의 남쪽에 있는 샤하이성황묘(霞海城隍廟)를 빼놓을 수 없다. 샤하이성황묘는 지역인의 신앙의 구심점일 뿐만 아니라 수많은 관광 인파가 만산편야 가득한 곳이다. 강대한 성황'단체'는 비단 현지인만을 보우하는 것이 아니라 온갖 고된 일들을 마다치 않고 국경을 넘어 해외까지 인연의 붉은 실을 연결해 준다. 이러한 명성이 자자한 성황 단체에는 샤하이성황신, 사범이장군(謝范二將軍; 사(謝)장군과 범(范) 두 장군신, 친근함을 담아 일곱째, 여덟째 할아버지라는 뜻의 치예(七爺)와 빠예(八爺)로도 불린다.), 성황부인(城隍夫人; 민간 신앙에서 모시는 성황신의 배우자.), 월하노인(月下老人) 그리고 주생낭랑(註生娘娘: 한국의 삼신과 비슷하게 산육(産育)을 관장하는 여신.) 등이 한 팀을 이루고 있다. 신명님들의 이미지는 사람들의 마음속 깊숙이 선명하게 뿌리내리고 있기에 지역의 점포들과 식당들은 이러한 이미지들을 창의적 아이디어의 근원으로 삼아 다양한 상품들에 짙은 특색을 살려 녹여 내고 있다. |

This scene of a moon god has a close parallel in the depiction of a sun god on a seal once in Berlin and now lost. It showed a male bust with rays around the head, above a pair of wheels and winged horses. Other examples of a sun god with chariot and horses occur in impressions of Sasanian seals and clay sealings, excavated by the Russians at Ak Tepe in Turkmenistan. Better known than these Sasanian representations, however, are the solar images, including a horse-drawn chariot, that are widespread in the art of both the East and West at periods preceding and contemporary with the Sasanian dynasty. | Translation - Korean
이 장면에 나타난 달의 신의 모습은 베를린에 있었으나 현재는 유실된 인장에 있던 날개 달린 말들과 한 쌍의 바퀴 위에 머리에 후광이 있는 남성의 흉상으로 표현된 해의 신에 대한 묘사와 매우 유사하다. 마차와 말을 탄 태양신의 다른 예는 투르크메니스탄 악테페(Aktepe)에서 러시아인들이 발굴한 점토 인장에도 존재한다. 그러나 사산 왕조의 표현법으로 익히 알려진 말이 끄는 마차와 태양에 대한 이미지들은 모두 동시기의 동서양 예술에 널리 퍼져 있다. |
