I am an Erasmus student in the 3rd year of my BA Honours Degree in Foreign Languages (English and Spanish) applied to Business and Management at the University of Coventry. I am bilingual in French and English. Indeed, my mother is British and my father French. That is why I was able to get dual nationality. I also have a vested interest in the Spanish language. I am looking for experience in translation in the neighbourhood of Coventry, this branch of work being one I would like to pursue in my future career. I indeed need to achieve a two-month internship in fields related to my studies, that is to say translation and interpretation and/or business and marketing, in order to validate my degree.
I am passioned by writing as I regularly participate in short story competitions, but also by cinema and more particularly scenarios. My aim is to attempt a scriptwriting school in Paris. That world being however very elitist and without guarantee of employment, I decided to privilege language studies. My being bilingual as well as naturally inclined to other cultures convinced me to choose the Foreign Languages course.
