About
I have a Bachelor of Applied Language and Intercultural Communication (double major in Japanese and Linguistics) from the University of South Australia, and I am a graduate of the Japan Visualmedia Translation Academy.
I also spent a year on exchange at Kansai Gaidai.
I am a native English speaker currently living in Australia, immersed in an English-speaking culture, which means I remain abreast of contemporary culture, nuances, slang, and context.
I have always had a penchant towards language and the written word. Many studios these days opt to follow the Netflix Style Guidelines when it comes to spotting or creating timecodes for subtitles. I am fully experienced in these guidelines.
