Bio
My first steps were made back in 90's during my students years as a private teacher of English language for pupils of all ages and later as a lecturer of business faculty students to which I dedicated 10 years though worked in parallel as a translator from English and Russian languages at an analytical department in public sector. Translating has always being a passion of mine and I ended up as a full-time translator both in public and private sector. In 2016, I tried freelancing to realize that it was exactly what I could spend hours on and still enjoy it. I have worked in a number of huge and small projects and companies, tried many roles from an ordinary translator and proofreader to a lead reviewer and language owner. I've learned working on different CAT Tools and with every new requirement I am easily adaptive as generally every new tool has more common with the previous ones than the differences. Freelancing still takes 60% of my workload. I am available on weekdays and if needed on the weekends as well.
