Pursuant to Dr. A. N. Other's advice, Green Earth, as a representative of stakeholders in the industry, submits this expression of interest to participate in your training programs conducted with proceeds from the pesticides importation levy.
As you are aware, Green Earth is a membership organization and a caring community of farmers, professionals, importers, formulators and manufacturers of pesticides, who share a firm commitment to environmental conservation and the inculcation of green best practices all round. We have more than 13,900 members, nationally, and this number continues to grow as more professionals, farmers associations and key actors in the agricultural and green value chain get on board.
Green Earth Kenya Bureau Office number 7, in concert with our overseas offices (Green Earth, UK and Green Earth, USA), also performs advocacy roles, where necessary, either by presenting petitions, letters of request and bipartisan liaison to protect the interests of our members. In addition, Green Earth Kenya champions hybrid approaches to mitigation of environmental degradation and adoption of sustainable solutions.

Source text - English ENG: Public health has been described as "the science and art of preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting health through the organized efforts and informed choices of society, organizations, public and private, communities and individuals."
ENG: It is concerned with threats to the overall health of a community based on population health analysis.
ENG: The population in question can be as small as a handful of people or as large as all the inhabitants of several continents (for instance, in the case of a pandemic).
ENG: Public health has many sub-fields, but typically includes the interdisciplinary categories of epidemiology, biostatistics and health services.
ENG: Environmental health, community health, behavioral health, and occupational health are also important areas of public health.
ENG: The focus of public health interventions is to prevent and manage diseases, injuries and other health conditions through surveillance of cases and the promotion of healthy behavior, communities, and (in aspects relevant to human health) environments.
ENG: Its aim is to prevent health problems from happening or re-occurring by implementing educational programs, developing policies, administering services and conducting research.
ENG: In many cases, treating a disease or controlling a pathogen can be vital to preventing it in others, such as during an outbreak.
