Born and raised in Quebec, French is my native language. I have been speaking English since age 3 and have been living in the United States since 1999. I hold a PhD in physics and am intimately familiar with the language of condensed matter physics, more specifically magnetism and solid oxide fuel cell materials. I welcome work from native French speakers who want to ensure that their work published in English is written clearly and concisely.
An avid outdoor enthusiast, I have a passion for, and familiarity with back country skiing, rock and ice climbing, competitive and recreational cycling, running, and surfing. I have written for Outside Bozeman Magazine and Ski Presse. I welcome translation work in any of those fields, from English to French, or French to English.
Examples of my outdoor writing can be found on my personal blog (mostly in French), and in my scientific publications (all in English). Please search for publications by Alexandre Lussier from Montana State University.
