Bio
I graduated in physics from The University of Manchester, UK, in 2003 and then embarked upon a 12 year career in hospital laboratories. Having been inspired by travelling in Europe and meeting many multilingual people, I then decided in 2014 to study languages with The Open University, UK, with the aim of becoming a translator. Now, as a freelancer, I aim to combine my love of and experience in science with a passion for languages to translate scientific texts. I also translate non-scientific documents and will carry out all work quickly, accurately and with respect for confidentiality. Examples of my work include the translation of news articles for the website Watching America, educational videos for Sikana and a medical education project with EURORDIS, an organisation which works on behalf of patients with rare diseases.
