It should be noted that I have 21 consecutive years of experience as a senior executive in the Turkish Government. I have spearheaded several projects during my career. I have been awarded “Turkey’s Changemaker Prize” in 2013 for a project aimed at preventing children from committing crimes and terrorism by providing them with equal opportunities.
I have worked in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for two years, from 2013 to 2015. I am skilled executive officer with international experience in government and the United Nations. I am recognized as an energetic, hands-on manager with a strong work ethic who is able to work under tight deadlines.
In my position in ICAO as an Associate Officer, I have discharged a range of duties in the ICAO Traveller Identification Programme (TRIP). I have provided management support in the implementation of TRIP Strategy. I have participated in international events as an ICAO representative and have delivered presentations in several international workshops and seminars. These prove my capability in organizing and coordinating international events, representing the organization and actively contributing to relevant discussions.
In addition, I have two extra years of experience as an executive officer in the UN Mission in DR Congo, in Africa, that resulted in my receiving “The United Nations Medal” for having completed the necessary period of service as a Member of UN Staff. As a result of my international experience, I am capable of working under difficult conditions, in a multi-cultural environment, and building effective working relations with colleagues. It is also a matter of immense pride for me that my supervisors have rated my performance as “Exceeds Expectation” in every year of my career.
