Bio

Born in Aleppo, I grew up speaking Arabic and Kurdish Kurmanji natively. At the age of 18, I had my Scientific Baccalaureate Certificate. Next I had a degree in English Literature from the University of Aleppo. while I was teaching English as a second language, I had another degree in Translation from Damascus University .

In 2018, I had an MA in Translation Studies from SOAS University (University of London) with a merit. I have been doing translation work for charities, social services, police, local councils, asylum and immigration, law , health, sports and other UK and international organistions.

I have recently had my DPSI English Law (Level 6) . I am also an associate member of CIOL. I also work as a language assessor for the UK Educational and private sector.
