I am originally from Baghdad-Iraq. I came to the United States of America after the Gulf War of 1991. We resided in the state of Illinois in 1993. I finished my remaining years of high school and then went to college. I obtained a bachelor's degree in Finance. In 2007, I was recruited as a contract linguist to work in the War-Zone Iraq. I was given an assignment in Baghdad to work with Task Force-134. I worked with attorneys from US Navy, Air Force, and Army. We were the liaison office of the Central Criminal Court of Iraq-Baghdad. I had the pleasure to work with Iraqi Judges and attorneys to counterterrorism. I translated many initial investigation and trial documents. I came back in 2009 and my passion for translation never stopped since!
