I have been working in multi-lingual environments for the last 40+ years. This involved ongoing communication and translation activities, predominantly between English and German in both directions. Since 1990, I have been a resident of New Zealand.

Trained in Germany as a qualified banking professional (Bankkaufmann) with specialisation in international business.

30 years in IT (Information Technology) in all stages of software development and support.

Master of Astronomy degree and involvement in international research collaborations.

Since January 2017, I have been freelancing mainly for The Translation Service, Department of Internal Affairs, New Zealand. The majority of this work included official certificates and documents, educational certificates and legal documents (court orders, notarised deeds and other legal documents relating to inheritance, adoption and international child abduction cases).
