Bio

I fell in love with English when I was little while learning German. English lured me by its sound, by its harmony and melody. I decided to study English Philology, and thanks to my studies I fell in love with my native language, Czech. Translating came to me naturally. Very early on, I got to translate some subtitles for documentaries and animated films, and I loved it. Subsequently, I applied for a scholarship to translate a theatre play, and I was fortunate enough to get it along with only 3 other people.

My journey with translating has been varied and rewarding. I always make sure that nothing gets lost in translation. Depending on the translation alone, I use creativity when it is needed and an accuracy when it is required. I pay attention to details together with the overall context.
