Bio

Hi,

my name is Petra and I'm native Czech speaker. I always liked literature and diving into meaning of things, so translating, editing and proofreading was a natural choice for my career.

I studied at the Masaryk University, where I also got my first experience while working for a non-profit student organization. I've been working with them for several years now, translating articles about Autism to help parents with autistic kids get more resources in Czech. I also made subtitles for a move Trauma Warriors, also for this non-profit.

When I'm translating "for myself" I usually go for psychology, because that's the area I'm very interested in. I also translate captions in YouTube videos that are about topics I think need to be more available in Czech.

If you need translation or some other text-related work done, I'm sure I can help you.
