English to Portuguese: Being there, little and often General field: Other Detailed field: Agriculture
Source text - English Being there, little and often
The most successful approach is gradual, piece by piece, with continual small achievements that build confidence, interest and a great garden.
Beyond the big start-out
Start with one or a few beds of compost, even on weedy ground, and sow/plant straight away if it’s the right season. As a beginner don’t be afraid to have a go, but inform your actions with best timings and methods.
Involve yourself as much as possible
Even when not anticipating jobs, seize every chance to visit the garden. Nearly always one finds new jobs:
thinning, weeding, protection from pests, staking –
and picking, too. All have their best moment for biggest payback.
Special tip: the compost bucket
Good gardeners are natural multi-taskers. A big bonus is to have a compost bucket as companion, for example while harvesting vegetables. It’s quick to remove those small weeds, before they grow big
or drop seeds – no need to return, move on to the
next job.
No dig bonus
Because weeds are easier to control with no dig, it’s more of a pleasure to visit the garden, where picking becomes the main job. I had this message from Tami Greever in Arkansas, USA: ‘My no-till gardens are amazing. I created one as an experiment and really didn’t think it would work. Guess what? One year later and I’m still eating off of this 80 sq. ft (8 sq. m) piece of land. It produces so much that I have to share with neighbors!’

In summary, we must concede we have no idea how many of the aforementioned underground, under-ice and undersea bases are real and how many are the figments of someone’s fertile imagination.
Our research has revealed some of these bases, at least, are real (à la Mount Weather, Cheyenne Mountain and Pine Gap) and their existence is documented and officially acknowledged, but there’s no proof those other sites – the rumored, unclassified, unacknowledged, underground black sites – exist.
Nor do we know the extent of activity in the known subterranean bases or whether extraterrestrials have been, or are still, present – or even if ET’s exist. Though we have our suspicions.
Anyone desperate enough to find out some truths could approach scientists, engineers and military personnel who have worked at confirmed underground bases and try to prize information out of them.
Investigators could also go to areas where subterranean bases are rumored to exist and use ground penetrating radar devices to see if manmade levels, structures and machinery show up below.

Time takes its toll.
The earth swallows me whole.
I cry... I want it to stop.
Not rewind time, but break the clock.
On autopilot, ready to crash.

O Tempo cobra as suas baixas.
A terra traga-me por inteiro.
Eu choro… Quero que acabe.
Rebobinar o tempo não, partir o relógio sim.
Em piloto automático, pronta para bater.
