Source text - English The Colombian derivatives market has been growing during several years; the OTC market since the 1950’s, and the standardized market since 2008. However, the standardized market’s drive has declined during the last few years. For this reason, this project was born; to gain the active participation of all the different actors in the market is key to achieve the boost that it lost, and finding its weaknesses to again point it in a direction that helps to develop the Colombian capital market.
Translation - Spanish El mercado colombiano de derivados ha aumentado durante varios años, el mercado OTC desde los años 50's, y el mercado estandarizado desde 2008. Sin embargo, el impulso del mercado estandarizado ha disminuido en los últimos años. Esta la razón de este proyecto; obtener la participación activa de los diversos actores en el mercado es clave para obtener el impulso que se ha perdido en este mercado, y así mismo encontrar sus debilidades para encaminarlo en una dirección que ayude a desarrollar el merado de capitales Colombiano.
