Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to the second half of the school year! I am asking for your support over the next few months to help get your child reading! It is crucial that by third grade, students have built strong reading fluency and comprehension skills. In order for students to have this strong foundation, your child should be
reading for at least 20 minutes every night. This booklet will provide you with some ideas to keep your child reading and to help you encourage literacy at home.
