Bio

Hello!

I'm Emily Stübing, a native speaker of German and English who grew up in both the US and Germany. Here's more about my experience:

EN <> DE and ES > EN interpreter and translator with three years of professional experience and one year of experience as a volunteer medical interpreter. My professional background mainly lies in the sciences with experience as a neuroscientist and medical interpreter/translator, with a Certificate in Medical Interpretation and BA in Spanish.

Now, I've branched out to other industries, particularly involving legal documents, technical manuals, tourism-related documents or websites, business/marketing materials, while of course continuing to translate medical documents and perform telephonic medical and legal interpretation, mainly for German-speakers.

I'm also currently getting my Master's from Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge (part-time), so my expertise in the business world - and with the terminology - is expanding.
