Bio

I have 10 years of experience in working with English and French language in various terminological areas. I am now adding Spanish language into my work, as I live and work in Spain long term.

I specialize in tourism and architecture, but I am attracted to other fields such as legal, technical, scientific and medical.

Studying languages is amazing. Studing history is enriching. Working with translation is surprising.

When you work on terminology, you become someone who can name things.

This small planet has more terms then the starts you can count on a clear night.

Working on a translation is like little by little combating ignorance.

Distinguish mudejar from saz. Be able to name that colorful good - quality cloth african ladies wrap around their head. Understand that black jewellery box you were given was only an imitation of blackwood which is a very prescious wood and comes from the tree of Dalbergia melanoxylon.

And many things that you didn´t know existed and were unable to name them even in your mother tongue.

That is why we translate.

And that is why my  motto says: Translate the wor(l)d.
