Bio

Originally from Mexico, I hold a BA in Journalism from the Universidad Europea de Madrid (Madrid, Spain) and a Master's Degree in Digital Marketing from Aula CM (Madrid, Spain).

Specializing in Spanish-English translation and editing, I have more than 10 years of experience working for digital and print publications for diverse clients. I have translated (EN-SP) and edited reports and articles for international associations, companies, government agencies, and NGOs. Past and current clients include the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), Value for Woman, Oxfam Mexico, the World Bank, and Mexico's Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT).

I am also the co-founder of editingandbeyond.com, an English-Spanish translation and copyediting company, and the founder of historiabreve.com, a Spanish-language news website that focuses on historical events in the Americas. Prior I worked as a travel editor and writer for one of Mexico's top travel magazines, Mexico Desconocido. I am a native Spanish speaker and speak, read, and write English at level C-1 Advanced.
