I am a French native with a Master's Degree in Translation and Transcultural Studies from the University of Warwick, England. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in English and Spanish from the Catholic University of Paris.
I spent 2 years living in the West Midlands, during which I obtained my PostGraduate Certificate in Education (Modern Foreign Languages) from the University of Warwick and worked as a French, Spanish and English lit. teacher in 3 secondary schools, before deciding to go back to my first and foremost passion for translation and make a living of it.
I'm a writer as well as a translator, and though I specialise in literary translation, my writing skills mean I can easily adapt to various styles, including marketing. Over the years I've worked in different fields (literature, tourism, history, culture, chemistry, medical, education, theatre, food, cosmetics, general, letters, academic, humanitarian) and would not be adverse to working in many more, especially if they coincide with personal interests! I believe translation is an endless source of motivation to discover new things and research.
I am back to living in France again, though I do love visiting England whenever I can. My personal interests include: horse riding, animals, art, skiing, squash and jogging.
