I am Italian - English bilingual and proficient in French. Born and raised in Italy, I moved to the UK in 2008 to complete my studies, and after finishing my MPhil and PhD in Linguistics at Cambridge University, I worked in marketing (advertising & media) in London for four years.

I also hold a BA in French language and literature and worked in Paris for 6 months after graduating. During my PhD research on Italian and French dialectology, I routinely translated from Italian and French scholarly articles, and I spent 2 months in Sardinia (Italy) and Corsica (France) for my fieldwork activity, working with primary and secondary school pupils. I also devised my own fieldwork supporting materials in both languages.

As a PhD student, I taught French Linguistics, Linguistic Theory and Sociolinguistics to undergraduate students.

As a Senior Account Manager at London marketing firm Kameleon Worldwide, I specialised in international campaigns and client services spanning market research, copywriting and localisation for social media campaigns, on-site liaison and video transcription across Italy, France and Benelux (details on CV).

I am an academically trained language professional with a combined 10 years record of independent research and work experience in high-standard, multilingual institutions.
