Bio

With a degree in English and experience working for a non-profit and a college under my belt, I moved to Iceland to explore my heritage and discovered a love for the language. Soon, I stumbled into translation and realized it was the perfect way to combine my interests and skills. My freelance work has primarily focused on non-literary texts, including academic journal articles, web copy, and historical documents, but I continue to challenge myself with a variety of projects, including literary texts. 


I am available to provide Icelandic-to-English translations (NOT English-to-Icelandic) as well as proofreading of English texts.
