I was born in Brazil, but at the age of 2 I moved to France, following my parents at their doctor's degree. French was my first language, along with portuguese as the secondary one. Since then, I have been developping this passion for languages, always trying to improve then.
Foreign language education in Brazil is based in English courses, but I felt a need to learn more than the average taught at regular school, and searched extra classes since childhood. After ensligh, I have done language courses while I was in university, from practicing my french, to trying to learn chinese mandarin. In this period, I lived in United States, Spain and France in exange programs and could improve even more my skills.
But was only by the end of Architecture School that I started to work professionaly with translation. I was hired by Archdaily, the world's most visited architecture website, to translate articles to be published in the Portuguese version of the website, originally written in english and also spanish. Since then I've also been translating academic articles related to architecture and landscape architecture fields, and some marketing/advertising texts as a freelancer.
