Bio

I graduated
with a Bachelor’s Degree in faculty of Oriental Studies from Bishkek Humanities
University, in Kyrgyz Republic.

Major
subjects at university were Korean language, English language, history of
Africa and Asia.

Since 2006
my work experience is connected with translation and interpretation from Russian
to Korean, and vice versa.  My work
consists in translating construction rules and regulations, drawings,
specifications, official letters .The main field of translation is electrical
engineering (power and low current systems such as  electricity supply, lighting, fire alarm
system,  automated meter reading and
control system) , electrical systems).

I have
started work as freelance translator since 2015 in cooperation with translating
agencies of Russia in the capacity of Russian-Korean translator. But I don’t
have portfolio of freelance translation works from English to Korean and this
is the first time I have registered the global freelancing platform.

I had a
little experience in English-Korean translation over a period of 11 years. When
translated from English to Korean (and vice versa) I used  Russian-English electronic dictionary at first  and then English-Korean  electronic dictionary site referring to thesaurus,
meanings, usage example sentences and so on.

In spite my
little experience in English-Korean translation I would very much like to begin
work as freelance English-Korean translator .

If
necessary I’m ready to take translation test.
