I have over 13 years of experience in translation and certified proficiency in five foreign languages, with an emphasis on Spanish and Portuguese to English translation. I am particularly familiar with business, finance, and economics, (B.S in Economics), as well as philosophy, religion, and related topics (M.A. in Philosophy). My translations, which include an entire book translated from Medieval Latin to English, have been publicly praised by major academics and have received endorsements from numerous publications.
I have lived in Mexico for over a decade as a foreign correspondent for several publications, including LifeSite, Crisis, the National Catholic Register, and Catholic World Report. Earlier writings appeared in such publications as the Wall Street Journal and the Sunday Times of London, and I was the recipient four times of the Felix Morley Award for journalism, including first place. My writings have been reprinted, quoted, and cited in numerous books, including university texts. I speak Spanish on a daily basis, and have spent a total of five weeks in Brazil giving speeches in Portuguese.
I am dedicated to scrupulous accuracy as well as readability and natural flow in my translations, keeping in mind the needs of the client and the target audience. Let me know how I can serve your needs for high quality translations!
