Source text - English У раду се испитује Тукидидов утицај на Хобсово схватање човека и његов модел науке о политици. Тај утицај може се пратити уназад све до времена када је Хобс радио на преводу Тукидидове историје Пелопонеског рата. Он је тада већ описао Тукидида као „понајвише политичког историчара од свих који су икада писали” – дакле, као историчара чији рад представља највећи допринос правом сазнању политике. Главна теза овог текста јесте да се Хобсово дивљење према аутору Пелопонеског рата најбоље може објаснити Тукидидовом способношћу да опише конфликтуалност, која чини суштину политике. Та теза се потврђује компаративном анализом појединих тема из Тукидидовог историјског наратива и неколико важних теоријских ставова Хобсове антропологије и политичке теорије. Постоји упадљива сличност, која се често истиче, између Хобсовог излагања о три главна узрока сукоба међу људима у природном стању – конкуренције, неповерења и славољубља – и три основна људска порива на које се Атињани, у говору који Тукидид преноси, позивају да би оправдали своју тежњу за увећањем моћи. Ипак, у овом тексту заступа се гледиште да је Тукидид највећи утицај на Хобса извршио својим описима унутрашњег рата у полису. У закључном делу текста у том светлу се испитују два мотива из његовог описа чувене stasis у Коркири: немогућност правде и изопачавање језика, до којих долази у ситуацији грађанског рата.

Translation - Serbian This paper covers Thucydides' influence on Hobbes' interpretation of man and his model of political science. This influence can be traced back to the time Hobbes worked on the translation of Thucydides' history of the Peloponnesian war. He had then described Thucydides as "the most political historian that ever wrote" – that is, as the historian whose work represents the greatest contribution to real understanding of politics. The main thesis of this paper is that the admiration that Hobbes had towards the author of The Peloponnesian War is due to Thucydides' ability to describe conflicting opinions, which is the backbone of politics. This thesis is confirmed by comparative analysis between Thucydides' historic narrative and a number of Hobbes' important stances regarding anthropology and political theory. There is a noticeable similarity, which is commonly emphasized in Hobbes' argumentation on the three main causes of conflict between people in a natural state – competition, distrust and glory – and the three basic human urges on which the Athenians, in the speech that Thucydides' writes about, call upon to justify their affinity to increase their power. However, Thucydides' influence on Hobbes was mainly because of Thucydides' description of the intra-polis war. In the conclusion of the paper, two motives from Thucydides' descriptions are analyzed – the famous stasis in Corcyra: the impossibility of justice and twisting of tongues, which come into play in the situation of a civil war.

Source text - English U kontekstu masovne proizvodnje medijskih slika rana pojava ilustracija u popularnoj strukturi oglasa više je nego dragocen pokazatelj revolucionarnog pomeranja pažnje — sa reči na sliku — do čega dolazi u srpskim štampanim medijima krajem XIX veka. Za oblikovanje vizuelne, a ne samo tekstualne, ravni u masovnim štampanim medijima od presudnog značaja je bila pojava gotovih odevnih predmeta oko 1900. godine, od kojih je daleko najveći broj bio namenjen ženama, kako u evropskim zemljama tako i u Srbiji. Industrijsku proizvodnju konfekcije pratile su nove prodavnice i robne kuće, a onda i ilustrovane štampane reklame. Može se reći da je industrijsku proizvodnju robe u stopu pratila masovna proizvodnja slika.

Translation - Serbian In the context of mass production of media images, the early occurrence of illustrations in the popular structure of advertisements is an extremely precious indicator of a revolutionary shift of attention— from words to the image — which occurred in Serbian print media at the end of the 19th century. The crucial role in the shaping of both visual and textual plains in mass printed media was played by the occurrence of clothing industry around 1900, the majority of which was intended for women, both in European countries and in Serbia. The industrial production of ready-made clothing was accompanied by new shops and department stores as well as illustrated printed advertisements. It can be said that the industrial creation of products was closely followed by the mass production of images.
