French-speaking Belgian of Egyptian descent, 37 y-o Iris Soliman started translating roughly 7 years ago, mostly with translation agencies. Mostly translated ES-FR, EN-FR, then PT-FR, RU-FR and CN-FR. For the latter, she is taking lessons (during which she translates once to twice). Also follows numerous MOOCs about a wide variety of topics, including (but not limited to) security, Web development, data science...
For now, her priority languages are English, Dutch, Chinese(Simplified, improving knowledge in Trad.Chinese), German, Portuguese and Spanish. She's also learning Lithuanian and Latvian, Hindi amongst others. As for Chinese she recently passed the HSK level 3 test with a grade of 91%.
