I have worked as a translator and language teacher in Italy since 2007. I enjoy the human factor in teaching and the independence of translation work. I have spoken English and Italian since I was born, therefore I know both languages at native level. At the beginning of my career I worked as a journalist (for five years). The German language has been one of my passions in the last ten years. I have spent extensive periods of time studying in German and Austrian universities to perfect my knowledge of a language that does pose challenges to the non-native speaker. My interest in German comes from my classical music studies. I graduated in Musicology and focused in particular on German and Austrian musical schools between 1850 and 1945.

In these years I have translated texts for some of the largest companies in Italy (among them Telecom Italia, FIAT/Stellantis, Snam, Marelli, Luxottica, Pirelli, Angelini, Ferrero, Missoni, Costa Crociere) and abroad (among them the Elliott fund, Zeiss, Ernst & Young, AXA, BlueBay, LG, North Sails, Vontobel) as well as for top institutions and universities (the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Politecnico di Milano, Padua University). 

I am currently handling a portion of the ENI group's external communication in English. 

I have been translating official texts for the Royal House of Savoy for several years as well as the news for the website of the House's Dynastic Orders.

Lavoro come traduttore e docente di lingue in Italia dal 2007. Mi piace il fattore umano nell'insegnamento e l'indipendenza del lavoro di traduttore. Parlo inglese e italiano da quando sono nato, sono di livello madrelingua in entrambe le lingue. All'inizio della mia carriera ho lavorato come giornalista (per cinque anni). Il tedesco è stato una mia grande passione nell'ultimo decennio. Ho trascorso lunghi periodi di studio in università tedesche e austriache per perfezionare la mia conoscenza di una lingua che certamente pone alcune difficoltà al parlante non madrelingua. Il mio interesse per il tedesco deriva dai miei studi di musica classica. Sono laureato in Musicologia e ho concentrato i miei studi in particolare sulle scuole musicali tedesche e austriache tra il 1850 e il 1945.

In questi anni ho tradotto testi per alcune delle più importanti aziende in Italia (tra cui Telecom Italia, FIAT/Stellantis, Snam, Marelli, Luxottica, Pirelli, Angelini, Ferrero, Missoni, Costa Crociere) e all'estero (tra cui il fondo Elliott, Zeiss, Ernst & Young, AXA, BlueBay, LG, North Sails, Vontobel) oltre che per istituzioni e università (Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, Politecnico di Milano, Università di Padova).

Attualmente sto curando una parte della comunicazione esterna del gruppo ENI in lingua inglese.

Traduco regolarmente da diversi anni testi ufficiali per la Real Casa Savoia dall’italiano all’inglese e le notizie del sito web degli Ordini Dinastici di Casa Savoia.
