I am a native speaker of the Slovenian language. My first contact with English happened before primary school, through television, and later the computer. After noticing the ease at which I learned this language, my parents enrolled me into English classes, which I took twice per week, for 7 years, all the while learning German in primary school; and German and English in high school. During the third year of high school I placed 1st in the national competition in the English language. Having actively spoken the language for over 20 years, I shouldn't have any trouble translating any text from Slovenian to English and vice versa.
I have recently started studying Sanskrit, with the goal of having an underlying grasp of all Indo-European languages, but for the time being, my knowledge of the Sanskrit language is too basic to translate any complex text.
