CV/Resume English (PDF)

As a native German, I was born and raised in Germany, where I went to the University of Munich to complete my Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics (German as a Foreign Language), Art History and Literature. In 1994, I immigrated to Canada, where I received a Bachelor's of Education, as well as a Masters of Education from the University of Victoria. Since 2000, I have worked as a teacher in high school and elementary school, currently teaching Grade 5 in Victoria, British Columbia.

As a freelance translator, I have worked on several contracts throughout the last 20 years, translating video games, technical manuals, marketing materials, personal documents, and children's literature. I have a passion for language and a particular interest in marketing materials.

My schedule is very flexible and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
