I am a Japanese qualified Architect. I've worked as Senior Architect for 12 years
6 of which have been since moving to England. During this time, I obtained a
Masters degree in Architecture in London.

Converting practical and theoretical knowledge in-between two languages, in both business
and academic context, has equipped me with an in-depth understandings
particularly in design and architectural contexts.  I've found the
exploration of language has in-turn broadened my design knowledge and has been
an unexpected but fruitful route to finding new ideas and inspiration.

In addition to my professional architectural background, I have been an academic
researcher. I am interested in using my knowledge in dance and choreography as
a methodology for architectural design. It involves digital technology and
physical fabrication systems and my academic paper has been presented at an
international conference and subsequently published in a Journal.
