Having an MA in Journalism from New York University (the first Japanese native speaker to have obtained the degree at NYU, as far as I know) my skill to grasp quickly the basics of any business field helped raise the quality of my translation and interpreting assignments.  Furthermore, assisting the potential contributors to the NPO for which I have been working over a quarter of a century has required a variety of skills including drawing up a business contract from scratch in Japanese and translate it into English and negotiating on the terms with the American counterpart (attornies ), filling out an international investment application documents and the like.

Another advantage of me as an interpreter/translator between Japanese and English is that I have finished the higher education (BA from Waseda University, Tokyo) in Japan, which has given me a considerably solid vocabulary in Japanese.
