I finished my Bachelor of Arts in January this year (2018) at Stockholm University, with archaeology as my major. During the Spring Semester of 2018 I participated in an excavation at Jordbro Gravefield (one of the largest of its kind in Scandinavia) as part of an advanced field course in archaeology, also at Stockholm University. Apart from archaeology I have also studied English at Stockholm University and Japanese at Lund University. My main translation pair is English to Swedish. I also have a high level of proficiency in Danish as well as in Norwegian, and translate from both of these languages into Swedish. Additionally, I have an amateur interest in Computing, and these kinds of translations are my specialty.
Since October of 2017, I’ve held a part-time position as a Library Assistant at the Library of Jordbro (a suburb to Stockholm). My work there entails a number of tasks, including working with databases and providing library patrons with the information they require. Previously I’ve worked at TeaterStudio Lederman (a small independent theatre in central Stockholm) as a coat checker, though my actual duties also included administrative work, such as checking and adding to mailing-lists.
